Job summary

Summit Academy North seeks a dedicated Speech Pathologist to support students across a range of abilities. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, collaborating with educators, and guiding families to improve student outcomes.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement comprehensive evaluations, create IEPs, and deliver direct therapy in group and individual settings. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license and/or certification.
• Experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs and treatment plans in line with regulations.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and small groups using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and assessments.
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development.
