Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support K-12 students in a Lapwai, ID school setting. This contract role runs from August 18, 2026, through June 4, 2027, delivering direct and indirect services under SLP supervision.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and staff, collect student data, and follow individualized plans to promote communication development. Daytime hours ensure predictable schedules and a positive school-year experience.

Qualifications

• Current and active SLPA license for Idaho.
• Experience providing speech and language intervention in school settings (K-12 preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse students.
• Ability to follow treatment plans under supervising SLPs.
• Compassionate, energetic approach and dedication to student success.
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and caseload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to K-12 students, following prescribed interventions.
• Support implementation of individualized education plans under SLP supervision.
• Collect data, document student progress, and communicate findings.
• Assist with classroom activities, group work, and special projects.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's communication development.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and district protocols.
