Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or related field.
• Certification and expertise in area of specialization required.
• Music teachers: good hearing to detect pitch and tone variations.

• Establishes objectives and plans learning experiences.
• Implements activities using varied techniques to meet objectives.
• Maintains standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment.
• Exhibits positive human relations skills.
• Evaluates the educational program and student progress.
• Communicates with parents/guardians, colleagues, and community groups.
• Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Maintains and submits records and reports.
• Adheres to school system rules, procedures, policies, and regulations.

• Performs other duties as required by the principal or designee.
