Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in Culver City, California. The role covers 40 hours per week across 41 weeks, under the supervision of a licensed SLP, at multiple school sites.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy services, assisting with screenings and evaluations, preparing materials, and documenting progress to align with treatment plans while ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License.
• Experience providing speech and language therapy support in school-based settings across multiple grade levels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support speech and language screenings, assist with formal evaluations, and document student progress.
• Prepare therapy materials, maintain accurate student records, and assist with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Rotate between elementary, middle, and high school sites based on student needs.
