Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in Culver City, California. The role covers 40 hours per week across 41 weeks, under the supervision of a licensed SLP, at multiple school sites.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy services, assisting with screenings and evaluations, preparing materials, and documenting progress to align with treatment plans while ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License.
• Experience providing speech and language therapy support in school-based settings across multiple grade levels preferred.

Position Overview: Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Support speech and language screenings, assist with formal evaluations, and document student progress in accordance with established treatment plans. Prepare therapy materials, maintain accurate student records, and assist with clinical and administrative tasks. Rotate between elementary, middle, and high school sites to provide coverage based on student needs and daily assignments.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License
