Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Connecticut is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role runs from ASAP through June 2027, offering 35-37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, across multiple school sites to support students' communication development.

Qualifications include a valid CT SLPA license or eligibility, experience or strong interest in school settings, and ability to work under supervision of an SLP.

• Familiarity with written treatment plans under SLP supervision.
• Adaptability for a dynamic, multi-site caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students as directed by supervising SLPs.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of materials for therapy sessions.
• Document student progress and maintain records.
• Support implementation of IEPs and participate in meetings as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive educational environment.
