Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in Vallejo, California. The role involves evaluations, direct therapy, IEP goal development, and collaboration with teachers and staff to improve communication skills in the classroom.

Salary ranges from $85,000 to $135,000 per year with a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility required.
• CFs welcome to apply.
• Experience or interest in working with pediatric/school-based populations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
