Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Thornton, CO is hiring a School Psychologist for K–12 settings. You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success while ensuring high professional standards.

This full-time role runs for the 2026–2027 school year with a Monday–Friday schedule and starting August 2026. Compensation up to $68/hour with W-2 employment, benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or equivalent.
• Valid Colorado CDE certification required by start date.
• Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.
• NASP membership a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff.
• Support students’ behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs.
• Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports.
• Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations.
