Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year to support students from kindergarten through grade 12 in a welcoming district near Winsted, CT. This in-person role runs August 2026 through June 2027, offering a full-time schedule across multiple schools.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing counseling and intervention, collaborating with teachers and families, and participating in IEP/504 planning. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist certification.
• Experience working with K-12 populations in an educational setting.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Effective communicator with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to travel between school sites as needed.
• Commitment to in-person service delivery throughout the school year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for support.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address students’ social, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators in multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings; contribute to 504 and special education planning.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines.
