Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a New Jersey OT license and NJ School Certification, has pediatric experience, and 2 years of OT practice. The role focuses on IEPs, progress tracking, and family mentorship; we support ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• New Jersey OT license is required.
• NJ School Certification.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• 2 years of OT experience; 1 year school-based or clinical with children ages 3-18.
• Experience with IEP services and assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• K-12 caseload.
• Address client progress and engagement in occupations affecting health and living quality.
• Determine and implement treatment methodology; provide guidance in interventions.
• Perform therapeutic services for autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs.
• Plan, engage, and implement IEPs.
• Educate clients and mentor families on goal-oriented tasks.
• Provide care and instruction to family members and caregivers.
• Oversee and document client progress toward short- and long-term treatment markers.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and regulations.
