Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support a K-12 school district in Missouri on a short-term contract. You will travel across five campuses, assess students, and provide direct therapy with supervision where needed.

Responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators, and ensuring thorough documentation.

Qualifications

Missouri license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Experience delivering school-based OT services is valued.
Strong organizational skills for traveling between campus sites.
Ability to create effective, individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educational teams.
Open to working with varying age groups and needs within a school setting.
Comfortable maintaining documentation and communication with school staff and families.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments, develop, and implement interventions tailored to student needs.
Serve students at five buildings, allocating services efficiently according to caseload demands.
Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and administrators.
Provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and adjust strategies to maximize student independence.
Supervise COTA work (if licensed OT); receive supervision if practicing as COTA.
