Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring an energetic Assistant Food Service Director to lead a K-12 school lunch program in Minnesota. You will manage daily kitchen operations, steer client and community relationships, and ensure compliant, high quality meals that meet budget and P&L targets.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of food service leadership and an associate degree in hospitality, dietetics, or a related field. ServSafe Manager certification is required or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of food service leadership experience.
• Associate degree in hospitality, dietetics, or related field.
• ServSafe Manager certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Proven ability to manage food cost and meet financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations and training of staff.
• Develop menus aligned with USDA Child Nutrition guidelines.
• Implement HACCP and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory, vendor relations, and cash control.
• Deliver budgeted food and labor results and oversee P&L.
