Job summary

The Affinity Group in California is seeking a field-based Sales Representative to sell and market K-12 products to school distributors and districts. You will collaborate with the Bid Manager to code and recap school bids, educating other West sales representatives, and input daily activity into CRM while planning for top customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in related field or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in food sales/marketing, preferably with a K-12 focus.
• Strong integrity and ethics; capable of handling confidential information.
• Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while traveling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule in-person sales calls with key customers using CRM; meet weekly and trimester goals.
• Conduct field sales activities at district and state events; participate in tastings and food shows.
• Monitor emails/voicemails and respond within 48 hours to inquiries.
• Analyze bids and develop strategic presentations for district decision-makers.
• Build and maintain relationships with school districts and distribution partners to drive growth.
• Attend industry events and continuing education to stay ahead in the K-12 market.
