Job summary

The Affinity Group seeks an in-person sales professional to market K-12 products to school districts and distributors across the territory. You will coordinate with the Bid Manager to extract pertinent bid information from manufacturers and educate other West sales reps on our K-12 products.

You will input daily activity into CRM, plan against top priority customers, and travel throughout the territory to drive ongoing sales growth while expanding knowledge of market trends and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in food sales/marketing or food service management in K-12 or with a national food manufacturer.
• Strong integrity and ethics; maintains confidentiality as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule in-person sales calls with key customers using CRM.
• Conduct field sales activities, including tastings and food shows.
• Monitor and respond to emails and voicemails within 48 hours.
• Follow up with customers and sales leads to drive opportunities.
• Analyze school bids and craft presentations that align with bid requirements.
