Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, on-site contract in the Waxahachie area, TX. The position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 26, 2027 and serves elementary to high school students across campuses.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication disorders while developing IEPs and collaborating with educators and families. Applicants must hold an active SLP license and SLP-CCC, with school-based experience valued.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in good standing
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt interventions for varied ages and needs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary and high school students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Engage in school teams and meetings to advocate for student success
• Serve as a resource for best practices and provide guidance on communication strategies within the school environment
