Job summary

Pueblo of San Felipe is seeking a school-based mental health professional to deliver developmentally appropriate psychological services for students across K–12. The role includes assessments, therapy, crisis intervention, and collaboration with school staff to support student wellness and academic engagement.

The position operates on-site within the tribal school system, with supervision by the Behavioral Health Director and School-Based Clinical Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to apply culturally grounded approaches to care.
• Experience with suicide risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Commitment to privacy and ethical guidelines (HIPAA/FERPA).
• Experience in school-based or youth mental health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students and families.
• Perform assessments, create treatment and discharge plans, and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate referrals within school, primary care, and community services.
• Deliver evidence-based and culturally adapted interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school collaborations.
• Maintain compliant documentation and program policies.
