Job summary

Pueblo of San Felipe is seeking an on-site School-Based Mental Health Clinician to provide developmentally informed psychological services across K–12 settings. You will deliver assessments, therapy, crisis intervention, and family counseling, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support student wellness and academic engagement.

The role emphasizes culturally grounded, trauma-informed care with coordination of care among schools, tribal services, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• School-based counseling experience preferred.
• Experience in tribal communities, rural behavioral health, or school-based health centers desirable.
• Experience in culturally and linguistically diverse settings desired.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family outpatient mental health therapy/counseling.
• Prepare assessments, treatment and discharge plans; provide crisis intervention.
• Coordinate referrals across school, primary care, behavioral health, and community services.
• Implement evidence-based and culturally adapted interventions; include social-emotional learning.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school collaborations.
