Job summary

A public school system located in New York is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support students and staff by implementing individual Behavior Intervention Plans. The ideal candidate will have a current Registered Behavior Technician Certification and experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviors. This position includes training staff, data collection, and attending meetings to ensure effective interventions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
• Experience in implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) techniques is preferred.
• Ability to conduct preference assessments and attend workshops is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students and staff with Behavior Intervention Plans.
