Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks a Project Executive for K12 construction in Western Washington. You will provide leadership over day-to-day operations for construction, project management, and project administration, guiding teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout and post-construction services.

The ideal candidate has extensive K12 project experience, a four-year degree in construction management (preferred) and 10+ years in complex projects, with a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in K12 education projects preferred, with delivery like GC/CM or Progressive Design-Build.
• Four-year degree in construction management or construction science preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and groups toward efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for construction, project management, and project administration.
• Enhance client relationships through award-winning service and successful project completion.
• Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing for profitable project setup and subs selection.
• Mentor and coach project team with annual performance goals for direct reports.
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the industry and with other service groups.
• Develop and communicate contract terms with clients and project team.
• Ensure project strategy is clearly defined and followed; ensure policy compliance.
• Guide multiple jobs and teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction phases.
• Identify risks to client operations and develop mitigation plans.
• Review and approve monthly project status reports, estimates, and schedules.
• Supervise subcontract bidding, negotiations, and major material purchases.
• Maintain scheduling, cost control, and staffing for project mobilization.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee supervision of personnel.
