Job summary

Center for Teacher Effectiveness is seeking experienced educators in Chicago, Evanston, Oak Park, Cicero, and Naperville to deliver highly effective staff development on classroom management for K-12 schools, either on site or via video.

Trainers work as independent contractors (1099) with no guaranteed hours, typically earning $1,000 or more per training day. You’ll complete a virtual Weekend Certification and may earn graduate credits through UMass Global.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering staff development sessions for K-12 educators.
• Ability to train on-site or via video conferencing.
• Background as a current or former K-12 educator (teacher, coach, counselor, dean, or principal).
• Willingness to work contract-based, with flexible hours and multiple trainings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver staff development sessions on classroom management for K-12 schools.
• Complete Weekend Certification (virtual, 3 days over two weekends).
• Coordinate with schools and the National Director on contracts and terms.
• Travel within districts or states as trainings arise and manage scheduling.
