Job summary

The Nutrition Group in Greensburg (PA) seeks a Director of Food and Nutrition to lead daily cafeteria operations for a K-12 district. You will guide menu planning, budgeting, and staff supervision to deliver healthy, cost-effective dining services.

This role emphasizes USDA/state guideline compliance, accurate reporting, and strong collaboration with district officials. Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven staff management experience.
• Culinary experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage school menus in compliance with USDA and state guidelines.
• Oversee food cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Lead and supervise cafeteria staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure accuracy in accounting and reporting processes.
• Maintain strong communication with school district administrators and officials.
