Job summary

Meteor Education is a national provider of furniture and interior solutions for learning environments. The Interior Designer role supports the sales team by creating furniture layouts and 2D/3D visuals tailored to K-12 clients, following Meteor Design Principles and Core Process.

You will collaborate with the Studio team, travel to client sites, and work in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-impact spaces on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of interior design experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Interior Design required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or CET and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Attend project programming meetings with salesperson, educational specialist and client.
• Collaborate with team to address client needs and develop design concepts.
• Create and present visual presentations including 2D drawings and 3D renderings.
• Specify furniture and finishes using our design and quoting software.
• Ensure designs meet budget constraints and timelines.
• Prepare installation documents with the Studio team.
• Present to clients and team with clear communication.
