Job summary

Lakes Country Service Cooperative is seeking an IT Coordinator to plan, configure, and support the technology infrastructure connecting our member districts. This hybrid role is suited for a self-motivated problem-solver who can bridge classrooms, networks, and administrative systems.

You will manage LAN/WAN, servers, workstations, and user devices, analyze network architecture, coordinate site installations, and ensure backups and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS; Linux administration preferred.
• Highly experienced with Microsoft Office and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage member technology and network infrastructure, including LANs, WAN, Windows and Linux virtual servers, workstations, iPads, and Chromebooks.
• Analyze current network architecture and recommend enhancements or redesigns.
• Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and new site installations with cooperative and district partners.
• Monitor and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery systems.
• Administer business information systems such as student information and learning management systems.
