Job summary

Lakes Country Service Cooperative, a public, non-profit organization, is seeking a full-time Information Technology Coordinator to plan, configure, and support network infrastructure for LCSC and members. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and excellent customer service in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate will manage LANs/WAN, various operating systems, and virtual servers, with travel to regional sites.

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in network administration, network engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS operating systems, preferably with Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage member technology and network infrastructure including LANs and WAN, Windows and Linux virtual servers, Windows workstations, Apple workstations, Apple iPads, and Chromebooks.
• Analyze current network architecture and make recommendations for enhancements or redesigns.
• Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and new site installations in collaboration with cooperative staff and district partners.
• Monitor and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers.
• Implement and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery systems.
• Administers the member's business information systems, such as a student information system, learning management system, etc., where applicable.
