Job summary

Lakes-Country-Service-Cooperative is seeking an IT Coordinator in Fergus Falls, MN for a hybrid, travel-inclusive role. You will plan, configure, and support technology infrastructure from classroom Chromebooks to core network systems, in a self-motivated environment.

Responsibilities include managing LANs/WANs, servers, and devices; analyzing network designs; coordinating site upgrades; maintaining hardware; and overseeing backup and disaster recovery systems.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in IT, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration, engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS; Linux administration preferred.
• Highly experienced with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Preferred: experience in a school or public agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage member technology and network infrastructure, including LANs, WAN, Windows and Linux servers, workstations, iPads, and Chromebooks.
• Analyze current network architecture and recommend enhancements or redesigns.
• Coordinate network expansion, upgrades, and new site installations with cooperative and district partners.
• Monitor and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement and maintain backup, failover, and disaster recovery systems.
• Administer business information systems such as student information and learning management systems.
