Job summary

Nazareth Area School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute K-12 Instructional Technology Coach for the 26/27 school year. The role requires a PA teaching certificate and a Master’s in Instructional Technology or related field.

Responsibilities include instructional coaching, modeling technology integration, and delivering professional development to staff. Strong collaboration with teachers to implement STEAM across curricula is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience.
• Pennsylvania Instructional teaching certificate is required.
• Master’s in Instructional Technology, STEAM or Educational Technology (Instructional Technology Specialist Certification preferred.)

Responsibilities

• Model innovative uses of technology in a standards-based classroom to increase student engagement and achievement.
• Provide instructional modeling and push-in support for the integration of technology into curriculum and instruction in the classroom.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop lessons and use instructional strategies that meet the needs of all learners through the use of technology.
• Work in classrooms with teachers to integrate technology and STEAM.
• Design and lead courses in person and in a virtual environment.
• Integrate and support instructional technology for multiple curricular areas and lead professional development.
• Instruct students, faculty, and the public on technology skills.
• Learn and support new technologies.
• Facilitate the integration of technology and STEAM K-12.
• Disseminate current research-based information on instructional technology, applications, and web-based software programs.
• Train varying levels of users; train and instruct in a constructive manner for all audiences.
• Provide professional development in technology skills and/or instructional strategies for district staff.
