Job summary

Southwest Foodservice Excellence is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Sunnyside USD-District Office in Tucson, AZ. You will oversee daily K–12 foodservice operations, lead and develop staff, manage labor and food costs, and ensure compliance with safety and district standards.

You will report to the General Manager. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in foodservice, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and strong Microsoft Office and POS skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in foodservice or hospitality.
• Experience with scheduling, labor, inventory and cost control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure quality, portioning, presentation and service standards.
• Lead, train, coach, schedule and manage performance to drive engagement.
• Drive labor and food cost control and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with company, district and regulatory safety/work standards.
• Partner with General Manager and district stakeholders to meet client expectations and deliver a great student experience.
