Job summary

NOLA Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Inspector to ensure leased facilities comply with all lease requirements and applicable laws. The role includes routine inspections, coordinating corrective actions, and overseeing small capital projects to keep facilities in top condition.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication and project management skills.

• Excellent conflict resolution and consensus building skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs thorough facility inspections of assigned OPSB facilities.
• Monitors facility maintenance requirements as required by facility leases.
• Communicates effectively with charter operators on the actions needed to remain in compliance with their contract terms and conditions.
• Provides a detailed corrective action plan to charter operators that outlines non-compliant items and a timeline in which these items should be remedied;
