Plante Moran in Denver, CO seeks a senior consultant to consult with Public Sector clients, define complex needs, conduct research, and advise on ERP solutions including IV&V and process redesign.

You'll lead project scoping, write proposals, participate in client interviews, and build relationships within K-12/higher education networks, while traveling as required. Exempt full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration or related field is required.
• Five to seven years of recent or current experience in a similar role is required.
• Experience on ERP implementation efforts for public sector organizations is preferred (e.g. CGI, Oracle, PowerSchool, SAP, Tyler, Workday).
• Ability to exercise good judgment within broadly defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Self-starter; ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong numeric / analysis skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple / competing priorities.
• Ability to complete projects within budget while delivering high quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and CoPilot.
• Must work well under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with assessing, selecting and implementing new ERP solutions including defining functional requirements and priorities.
• Develop detailed specifications and Requests for Proposals.
• Analyze proposals, issue clarifications to vendors.
• Assist with due diligence activities.
• Assist with implementation management activities including maintain issues log, risk mitigation, change order management, system design, data conversion planning, change management, training etc.
• Assist on other projects including process redesign and IT strategic planning.
• Assist in current and future state mapping of business process.
• Ability to strategize business process transformation using ERP best practices.
• Understanding of public sector objectives (e.g. K-12 and higher education).
• Ability to lead strategy sessions.
• Ability to problem solve.
