Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent contractor instructors for current and future school-based programs. These opportunities are part-time, in-person, and typically involve 1–4 instructional hours weekly over an 8–10 week period.

Compensation ranges from $50 to $65 per instructional hour, depending on assignment and location. Prior teaching certification is not required; relevant experience in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or specialized instruction may qualify you for consideration.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children/teens.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort with school procedures and instructional expectations.
• Educational background: 60 completed college credits preferred; relevant experience may count.
• Prior classroom employment not universally required; experience in camps, community programs, private lessons, or youth organizations is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive instructional sessions for students.
• Demonstrate concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and activities.
• Prepare lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
• Encourage curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education on logistics.
• Follow site policies, safety procedures, and assignment expectations.
