Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent contractor instructors to join its network for current and future school-based programs. Opportunities are in-person at schools and community partner locations, with 1–4 instructional hours weekly over 8–10 weeks.

You do not need to be a certified teacher; relevant experience in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or specialized instruction may qualify. Compensation ranges from $50 to $65 per instructional hour, with rates varying by assignment and location.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• The ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive instructional sessions for students across grade levels.
• Introduce concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and activities.
• Prepare lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
• Encourage student curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education on logistics.
• Follow site policies and safety procedures.
