Job summary

Joeris General Contractors in Houston seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee budget, schedule, and administration of commercial construction projects, with an emphasis on K-12 facilities, bond programs, and campus additions.

You will coordinate with school districts, facilities departments, and design teams, manage phasing on occupied campuses, and ensure safety and compliance with district standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field.
• 7 to 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets, schedules, and administration of commercial construction projects.
• Manage projects on active K-12 campuses with safety and minimal disruption.
• Coordinate construction activities around academic calendars and campus events.
• Develop relationships with school district representatives, facilities departments, and bond program managers.
• Lead phased construction, renovations, and additions in occupied environments.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets and progress schedules with the Superintendent.
