Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced Project Executive to lead K-12 and education-focused construction work in Seattle, coordinating with school districts, owners, architects and internal teams to oversee pursuit through closeout.

The ideal candidate is a senior GC leader with a proven background managing education projects, client relationships, and project teams, ensuring safety, schedule discipline, and financial performance while aligning with academic calendars.

Qualifications

• Senior-level commercial general contracting experience.
• Experience leading K-12, education, public works, or institutional construction projects.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and key client accounts.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead K-12 and education construction projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Serve as senior client-facing leader for school districts, owners, architects and internal teams.
• Oversee project teams including PMs, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and support staff.
• Provide leadership on budgeting, estimating, scheduling, logistics, phasing, constructability and execution strategy.
• Support pursuits, interviews, proposals and client relationship development.
• Manage overall project performance including cost, schedule, quality, safety, risk and client satisfaction.
• Lead risk management around contracts, change orders, claims, schedule impacts and owner expectations.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and field leaders.
• Grow and maintain long-term education-sector relationships in the Seattle market.
