Job summary

Chartwells K-12, a Compass Group USA subsidiary, seeks a Dining Services Manager to oversee a team of food service professionals across multiple K-12 sites. You will ensure high-quality service, manage dining operations, and support interdepartmental coordination with the culinary and marketing teams.

Responsibilities include menu development with the Chef, budgeting support, and driving sales through quality and innovative programs while maintaining compliance with sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in education, schools, or related food service operations preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dining services operations of a medium to large location.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assists with profit and loss and budgeting for this account.
• Works with the Chef and management to create menus and ensure top-quality food.
• Assists with meal services and related activities, including sanitation and infection control.
• Supports rollout of new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Prepares quarterly client reports for presentations.
• Collaborates with marketing and culinary to drive sales through quality and innovation.
• Ensures food programs reflect the company vision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
