Job summary

Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options, including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education and retail operations.

Our goal is to provide healthy, nutritious meals with a stellar dining experience for our communities. The Food Service Manager oversees dining operations and ensures customers order from a menu.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members using Aramark's coaching model.
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress.
• Deliver client and company financial targets.
• Adopt Aramark processes and systems; educate teams on margins.
• Lead front-of-house dining operations and coordinate with the Food Service Director.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities to deliver a finished product.
