Job summary

Elford is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, and overall project execution while ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive project management experience within General Contracting construction.
• K-12, higher education, or public-sector construction experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple construction projects and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school districts, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Lead project planning, subcontract administration, procurement, and contract management.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure safe, efficient, and successful field execution.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project reporting.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor Project Engineers and support the development of future project management talent.
