Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to oversee internal compliance and certification for educational programs in Tucson, AZ. You will analyze transcripts, advise staff on credentialing, and ensure ADE and related certifications are met.

You will also supervise volunteer processes, manage I-9 compliance, develop training, and coordinate with Finance on pre-employment expenses, ensuring cross-team collaboration and timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience; multiple paths allowed.
• Experience coordinating or administering compliance programs.
• Supervisory experience and ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate transcripts and professional experience for certification eligibility.
• Ensure ADE certification requirements are met and classroom assignments are appropriate.
• Advise certificated staff on coursework needed to maintain/updatere certification.
• Provide direction on certification status to ensure requirements are met.
• Monitor certifications including ADE, AZDPS, First Aid, CPR, and related documents.
• Maintain I-9 compliance and assist staff with documentation inquiries.
• Develop and implement training on credential and I-9 requirements.
• Oversee volunteer applications, background checks and clearance processes.
• Collaborate with Finance on pre-employment expenses reimbursements.
• Coordinate with other teams to streamline processes and oversee staff workloads.
