Job summary

Concorde Education, LLC partners with local schools to offer independent contractor roles in cheerleading, dance, and related performing arts for K–12 students. Roles are after-school, typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, for 8–10 weeks, with rolling start dates.

Ideal candidates have experience in cheerleading, dance, choreography, or coaching, at least 60 college credits, and a passion for youth enrichment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheerleading, dance, choreography, coaching, or related field.
• At least 60 completed college credits or equivalent.
• Experience working with children/teens in instructional/coaching capacity.
• Strong communication, leadership, and group-management skills.
• Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm for youth enrichment.
• High school/college competitive cheerleading experience is valued.
• Dance studio instruction or performance experience is valued.
• Coaching youth cheer/dance teams is valued.
• Experience teaching hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, or other dance styles is valued.
• Experience with after-school programs, summer camps, or youth recreation is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, structured cheerleading and/or dance sessions for K–12 students.
• Demonstrate techniques, movements, and choreography in an accessible manner.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, creativity, and student participation.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe instructional environment.
• Communicate professionally with school personnel and Concorde Education representatives.
• Follow applicable safety procedures and program guidelines.
