North Ridgeville City Schools is seeking a Head JV Wrestling Coach to lead the program, mentor student-athletes, and ensure safety and skill development. • Proven positive coaching philosophy and strong communication skills.
• Previous high school coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess all required coaching credentials.
• Follow and uphold the policies and procedures of North Ridgeville City Schools.
• Create a safe environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of students.
• Consult with the Athletic Director regarding off-season training programs, camps/practices, and facility use.
• Ensure team rules and regulations regarding conduct and eligibility are communicated and followed.
• Plan, organize, advertise and conduct tryouts when applicable.
• Plan, organize and direct the operations of the program with the Athletic Department.
• Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques for development.
• Work with the school athletic trainer in reporting injuries and safety procedures.
• Model good sportsmanship and maintain conduct toward opponents and community.
• Create a proactive plan for student-athletes pursuing athletics and academics post high school.
• Maintain appropriate relationships with student-athletes and manage communication.
