Job summary

Allendale High School is seeking an enthusiastic JV Boys Volleyball Head Coach to lead the season alongside the Athletic Director. You will plan practices, coach games, and develop a positive program for student-athletes.

Responsibilities include player development at freshman and junior varsity levels, maintaining records, communicating with families and the media, and organizing a youth program. Previous high school coaching is preferred; teacher certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated love for volleyball and ability to help students reach potential.
• Current knowledge of volleyball rules and fundamentals.
• Ability to relate to teenage students and communicate clearly.
• Teacher certification preferred but not required.

Position Summary:

Allendale High School's Head JV Boys Volleyball Coach is responsible for overseeing the Boys JV Volleyball team. The mission of Allendale Public Schools is to educate, inspire, and support all students.

Description:

Organize and work with the Athletic Director to lead, coach, and direct the high school JV Volleyball season.

Qualifications:

• Possess a great love of the sport and a high interest in helping individuals reach their highest potential
• Good role model for student-athletes
• Current knowledge of rules, fundamentals, teamwork, and the ability to relate to and teach teenage students
• Strong commitment to building a successful program for student-athletes
• Evidence of successful coaching experience at the high school level preferred
• Evidence of expertise in teaching the fundamentals of individual skills and team play
• Evidence of the ability to develop a successful program
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Teacher certification preferred but not required
