Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental golf skills, course management, rules and etiquette, and help athletes develop confidence, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game.
• Prepare student‑athletes for varsity competition while fostering a positive, team‑first environment.
• Plan and conduct effective practices, coach athletes during meets, and ensure athlete safety.
• Communicate effectively with student‑athletes, parents, and staff and assist with administrative responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Foster a culture of accountability, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement while working collaboratively with the Varsity Head Boys Golf Coach to build a positive and competitive golf program.
• Provide quality instruction, encourage individual growth, and help student‑athletes develop the skills, confidence, and course management abilities needed to compete at higher levels.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and staff, upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and academic support for all student‑athletes.
