Who We Are

Christo Rey Orlando High School is located in Orlando, FL, and is part of the national Cristo Rey Network. The school opened its doors to its inaugural freshmen class in the fall of 2025. Like all Cristo Rey schools, it is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for students of all faiths from families of limited financial means. The school is co-educational and serves students of diverse backgrounds. We help our students grow intellectually, academically, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and morally. This Role

Christo Rey Orlando High School is seeking a mission-driven Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach who plays a vital role in developing student‑athletes as leaders on and off the court. As this is the school’s founding year for athletics, the coach will have the unique opportunity to build and establish the basketball program from its beginning. The coach will focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fostering a culture that reflects the school’s Catholic values and mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the JV basketball program, including practices, games, and conditioning. Teach fundamentals of basketball, teamwork, and leadership in alignment with the mission of Cristo Rey Orlando.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Experience And Skills

• Previous high school or club coaching experience.
• Knowledge of FHSAA rules and regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
