Jefferson Parish seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to fill a current vacancy in the Department of Juvenile Services. Under supervision, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy for detained youth at the L.

Robert Rivarde Detention Center, coordinate treatment services, and maintain detailed case files. Requirements include a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and active status as PLPC/PLMFT, LMSW, or CAC.

Formación

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health related discipline.
• Must meet one of: PLPC/PLMFT, LMSW, or CAC with active status.
• Louisiana Child Protection Act convictions may be disqualifying unless pardoned.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for detained youth.
• Interview juveniles and guardians; collect assessment information and document case details.
• Coordinate therapeutic treatment services and drug testing with internal and external partners.
• Develop and maintain case files; provide screening/assessment training to staff.
• Flexibility in hours; travel to meet clients as needed; driving may be required.
