Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field and five years of job-related social services experience.
• One year of lead worker, team lead, or supervisory experience.
• Possess and maintain Georgia POST certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Interview probationers and parolees to evaluate progress and compliance.
• Recommend remedial action or initiate court action for non-compliance.
• Administer drug and alcohol tests to verify treatment program compliance.
• Prepare and maintain case folders for assigned inmates or offenders.
• Counsel clients with substance abuse issues and coordinate services.
• Supervise community-based sentences and conduct field supervision.
