Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of job-related experience in a social services delivery setting.
• Or four (4) years of direct case management job-related experience working with offenders and their families in a social services delivery setting.
• State of Georgia POST certification within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Interview probationers and parolees to evaluate progress and enforce terms.
• Administer drug and alcohol tests to verify treatment compliance.
• Write reports describing offenders' progress and discuss rehabilitation plans.
• Supervise community-based sentences and conduct field visits for supervision.
