Job summary

You will work with families, schools and agencies to develop rehabilitation plans and ensure compliance with court orders. Responsibilities include home/school visits, preparing reports, providing testimony, referrals, and crisis support.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience working directly with adolescents in one or more fields: criminal justice, social services or education.
• Four-year minimum education or equivalent; preference for a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work non-traditional hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with youth, family, victims and law enforcement; perform home/school visits as part of intake.
• Conduct risk/needs assessments and prepare case plans and referrals to service providers.
• Provide court testimony, prepare social histories and related reports; assist with disposition recommendations.
• Carry out case management, supervision and transition planning; coordinate with partners for services.
• Enter case activity in JJIS and maintain compliance with department policies and timelines.
