Job summary

State of New Hampshire, Department of Health & Human Services, Division for Children, Youth & Families, Laconia/Franklin Itinerant District Office, is recruiting for Juvenile Probation & Parole Officers I–IV. Positions offer hourly pay bands from $22.50 to $42.60 with a one-pay-band enhancement for a set period and possible tele-work arrangements.

Candidates must have relevant education/experience as outlined, a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel up to 50 miles for assignments.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 2.5 years of education and experience after high school.
• License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attend court hearings and prepare written reports for the courts for disposition and review hearings.
• Supervise delinquents and CHINS under court orders and ensure compliance with parole conditions.
• Develop parole supervision plans and engage families to ensure program goals are met.
• Maintain case records and provide timely documentation and reporting to supervisors.
