The State of New Hampshire, Division for Children, Youth & Families, Concord District Office, is recruiting Juvenile Probation & Parole Officers I-IV – Assessment. These roles supervise offending juveniles, prepare court reports, and assess youth and families using strength/needs tools, under the Practice Model orientation.

Salary ranges from $22.50 to $42.60 per hour across levels, with a one-pay-band enhancement.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in criminal justice, criminology, behavioral science, counseling, or related field.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
• Must be able to travel up to 50 miles for temporary assignment.

Responsabilités

• Perform entry level field work overseeing supervision of juveniles.
• Prepare investigations reports and recommendations to the court or Juvenile Parole Board.
• Assess youth and families referred by law enforcement using validated strength/needs tools.
• Uphold agency mission through Practice Model theories and daily practice.
• Advance through JPPO levels via performance and training requirements.
