Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal justice, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or related area.
• Minimum experience: Two (2) years in criminal justice, law enforcement, or counseling case management.
• Must have dependable transportation and pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervises high-risk caseload of juveniles on County probation.
• Coordinates clinical assessments and arranges medical/mental health/substance abuse treatment as needed.
• Completes CANS assessments and derives case plan from assessment.
• Communicates with staff, supervisors and agencies for successful probation completion.
• Attends Court and makes remedial recommendations or initiates action for noncompliance.
• Administers drug and alcohol tests including random screens.
• Inputs data into Quest system from intakes and meetings.
• Participates in required trainings and maintains professional behavior.
• Maintains confidentiality and positive working relationships.
