Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with facility menus and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
• Supervise youth assigned to food service duties, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Operate kitchen equipment and follow institutional food safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory, storage, and portion control.
• Uphold confidentiality, mandatory reporting, and trauma-informed care standards.
• Participate in PREA training and other required onboarding programs.
